Jatayu Earth’s Center
The Jatayu Earth’s Center is the world’s largest bird sculpture, which is Kollam’s newest tourist attraction. This is the first BOT (Build-Operate-Transfer) tourist project in the state, spanning 65 acres across four hills. On your trip to Chadayamangalam in Kollam district, the massive statue of Jatayu lying high up the hill attracts your eye even from a distance. The mythological bird Jatayu appears in the Indian epic Ramayana.
In Jatayu Rock, the traveler can expect a wide range of experiences. The museum and the 6D theatre inside the sculpture are two examples. From here, you can also take a hele-taxi ride! This is the ideal weekend escape for all action seekers! Play thrilling games with the backdrop of magnificent natural scenery. Choose from Burma bridges, commando nets, log walks, vertical ladders, chimney climbing, or side joolas and feel the adrenaline pour through your veins.
Apart from these unique activities, the location also offers Ayurveda, camping, trekking, a live kitchen, and much more to make your trip unforgettable. Visit the location for a one-of-a-kind experience that no other tourist destination in Kerala can match!
